Hypotube Shafts - Proximal Design
Creganna Medical Devices provides design and component solutions for the proximal end of the hypotube or delivery device shaft. Luers & Strain Reliefs Luers, or hubs allow for easy access to the catheter lumen for a number of functions such as the injection of fluids or drugs, or the introduction of guidewires. An integral component of the luer assembly is the strain relief. It maximizes kink resistance at the proximal luer/hypotube bond by transmitting mechanical forces over a longer distance. Overmoulding Technology Creganna Medical Devices provides in-house overmoulding technology and services. Overmoulding forms an extremely strong bond between the luer, strain relief and hypotube. Customised Designs Creganna Medical Devices can provide a range of customised deployment designs, components and assemblies for device deployment including stent deployment systems and deployment handles
