Irish Export Industry Award in Lifescience Category

Creganna today announced that it won the Lifescience Exporters Award at the Export Industry Awards in Dublin last night (05/11/2008). The prestigious awards, organized by the Irish Exporters Association (IEA) were announced and presented at a Gala Awards Dinner by An Taoiseach Brian Cowen in O’Reilly Hall in UCD.

Creganna has had significant global success in recent years with exports increasing by 109% in 2007. Creganna CEO Helen Ryan accredits this substantial growth to the company’s focus on developing its export markets. She said, “Creganna has positioned itself as a global supplier and this has allowed us to grow both domestically and internationally. In response to significant activity in the US for example, we officially opened our first international manufacturing facility in Marlborough, Massachusetts last year. The Awards recognize the achievements of companies trading in tough economic and competitive markets.
